When you think of craft beer hot spots in North America what comes to mind? The West Coast IPA masters in San Diego? Or maybe their hazy NEIPA rivals in Vermont and the rest of New England? Perhaps the entire state of Colorado, or deliciously hip and creative enclaves like Asheville, North Carolina and Portland, Oregon? Or maybe you're really dialed into the burgeoning scenes in places like Richmond, Virginia or Austin, Texas. All great answers, but you forgot one.
Quebec.
Yes, Quebec!
The craft beer scene north of the border in La Belle Province is as vibrant and exciting as anywhere in the North America, and Quebec brewers have gained worldwide acclaim for their incredible brews. It's a beer culture that honors timeless Old World traditions and infuses them with the vitality of some of the most talented craft brewers on Earth.
Like their swashbuckling and heroic namesakes, microbrasserie Les Trois Mousquetaires have taken the world by storm with an incredible run of award winning brews since their founding in 2004. Their lineup shows incredible range, with stylistic influences from Belgium, Germany, the UK, and North America; all crafted expertly and lovingly into a unique expression of local Quebecois craftsmanship. In fact, they were an early adopter and are still a leader in the local ingredients movement, and almost all of their grain is natively grown and malted in Quebec.
LTM's is also acknowledged as one of the world's finest breweries, and was named as one of the world's Top 100 breweries by Rate Beer in 2020.
